Because of a Chris Craft book I discovered the story of my Great grandfather. Imagine my surprise! I am proud of you grandpa, all gave some, some gave all!

Even today, few people realize the extreme dangers of serving civil process. This site's very existence and remembrances serves a public good.

Constable Moore,
On today, the 109th anniversary of your death, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Algonac. And I can't but help to agree with some of the previous reflections left here for that your murderer should have got a lot more time the 15 years that he was sentenced to.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 106th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never dimishes respect, not even 106 years.

Rest In Peace

Elisha,

Your sacrifice will not be forgotten. Thank you for paving the way for Harsens Island to be the boating area it is today.
