Dear David hi its me again how are you all the way up there in heaven ? I bet it is wonderful to see Jesus and God . Sometimes it feels like i can tell you anything so here goes. David i feel sad when i think about you being dead it breaks my heart and makes me cry.It has been a wonderful year 2008 but soon it will be 2 years since your death it is just so sad i wish you were still here with all of us it would be great .I wish you could see how great Mikayla Faity and Michelle are doing . To put it lightly, you have been on my mind and in my heart alot lately, more than normal... When I run upstairs, I can see as clearly as the day is long... the first day I met you... and that smile you always had on your face. A smile that could melt anyone's heart, a smile that made everyone around you - know what kind of guy you were...One of the best men in blue! You were an amazing person, who not only protected us while you were here with us, but while you are with us watching and helping us with each and every day... Mike doesn't talk about it much, but I know he misses you too!! Keep an eye out for him, I'm sure he could use your back up once again...29 forever in our hearts!

Dave, it is getting close to Christmas. The girls are very excited but i know they wish you were here. Thanksgiving was definately tough but you know your girls are strong and we are gonna make it no matter what. I want joy in my life. I want peace and love and stability. I want unconditional commitments from those in my life that mean the most. No matter what we went through in our relationship we did it together. You were always right by my side holding my hand especially through Daddys' death. You were solid for me and my mom. You are a special man. The saying"It is not how you died that made you a hero but how you lived", it definately applies to you. You definately lived your 32 years to the fullest. I am so blessed to have been part of it for 17 years. You will always be uor personal hero at home and in our community. Well, i am off to the basketball court. You are forever in our hearts. Dave, It has been over a year and a half since your passing. I frequently recall shifts that I rode with you and the crazy things that you got me into. You always had me into something! I was devastated the day that the news came! You were the big brother that put up with me and allowed me to tag along with ya at the police department! You taught me alot and made a huge impact on me, as you did with so many. I want to thank you for everything that you done for me Dave! You will always be remembered and never forgotten! I will always be here for the family if they ever need anything! Thanks again Dave!

David Poling made an impact on several peoples lives in Gallia County as well as other places in this world. He is sadly missed every day by numerous friends and family members. HEY BABE! IT IS BASKETBALL SEASON AND BOTH OF THE GIRLS WILL BE PLAYING. I AM GONNA HAVE MY HANDS FULL! THIS SINGLE MOM STUFF IS NOT EASY. I AM COACHING AGAIN THIS YEAR AND AM EXCITED TO SEE WHERE THIS SEASON TAKES US. PLEASE BE BY MY SIDE AND HELP ME. THE HOLIDAYS ARE QUICKLY APPROACHING. Pookie, It has been 17 months today that my life was changed forever. All the dreams we had severed that day and my wings were clipped to the point that I could not stand on my own two feet let alone fly. I know i have been carried. Carried by God's grace that He says is sufficient for me. Thank you for your watchful eye over us and the sweet messages you send to your girls in only a way that you could. Faithy asked me yesterday how much longer it would be until she could see her Daddy in heaven. Only God knows that answer. We love you and cherish the years we spent together loving and living as one on this earth. How blessed I am to have experienced that kind of love. You were a great husband and a wonderful Daddy. Your babies are still going strong and growing into beautiful young ladies with every passing day. I know that you look down with that special daddy twinkle in your eye. Your "other" children still miss you so very much. Football season is here and he is doing really well, he stil talks about you so often. The other day we were goin up the road and I had to retell him that whole story of what happened to you. Dave, I just got back from the grocery store and realized our girls eat like you did! They have appetites like you would never believe. Faithy is doing good at school. She has been a little apprehensive to be apart from her momma but she is doing better. Her teacher called me a few minutes ago to see if I could volunteer tomorrow. That makes she and I both happy. Everything here on the Poling hobby farm is doing pretty good. Bub Williams and Jason Harris came down the other day to check on us. I really enjoy them just stopping by to say Hi. I have been really worried about Mikayla. She has been going through some sort of emotional problem and I am just not sure what to do for her. She handles her emotions so much like you. I just hope I can make the right decisions for them and me. I had a house full of kids this weekend. Eight girls to be exact. I was definately outnumbered! I know that is what you wanted in this house-Love and Laughter! I hope you always know how hard it is to not see you. I do feel you and know you are near but it is difficult to get used to not seeing you on a daily basis. I am glad I can look into the eyes of our gals and see you in them. Continue to watch over us and pray for us daily. I love you

POOKIE, I WANTED TO TELL YOU FAITHYS' FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL WAS PRETTY GOOD. MRS. HALL IS HER TEACHER. SHE LOVES HER SO FAR!! I HAVE HAD A HARD TIME LETTING HER GO. MY GIRLS ARE A LITTLE PIECE OF YOU WITH ME ON A DAILY BASIS. WHEN THEY ARE APART FROM ME I DO NOT FEEL AS CLOSE TO YOU SO THAT HAS BEEN MY MAJOR PROBLEM WITH HER BEING IN SCHOOL. SHE MAKES FRIENDS SO EASILY. WHO COULDN'T LOVE HER!!! OUR GIRLS ARE THE CREAM OF THE CROP MUST I SAY!!! MIKAYLA WANTS TO PLAY FOOTBALL. I QUICKLY RESPONDED WITH A NO!!! SHE IS SUCH A TOM-BOY. SHE IS GOING TO PLAY ON A TRAVELING TEAM FOR BASKETBALL AND PLAY FOR HANNAN TRACE SO WE WILL BE BUSY COME WINTER. FAITHYS' BIRTHDAY IS THIS FRIDAY. CAN YOU BELIEVE SHE IS GOING TO BE 6 YEARS OLD. HARD TO BELIEVE. I HOPE YOU ARE PROUD OF ME FOR CONQUERING MY FEAR OF THE WATER AND GOING WHITE WATER RAFTING. WHEN THEY TOLD ME I WAS IN 85 FT. OF WATER I WAS A LITTLE PANICKED. I WAS REALLY GLAD TO HAVE DONE IT. AARON SAID HE WAS REALLY PROUD OF ME. HE WAS WITH ME THE WHOLE WAY. HE CLEANED ALL YOUR GUNS AND HE SAID HE WOULD GIVE YOU HECK IF YOU WERE HERE FOR HOW DIRTY THOSE GUNS WERE. THEY HAVEN'T BEEN CLEANED FOR A LONG TIME. HE SAID HE COULD TELL YOU WEREN'T INFANTRY IN THE USMC. HA!HA! GO MP'S! THE GIRLS ARE DOING WELL AND WE ARE GETTING STRONGER.
