I have been following this story and today I heard the tragic news. A true hero was taken from this world by a bunch of cowards. Please know our prayers are with the family and his fellow officers. I look forward to seeing these punks get what they deserve.

Constable Bailey,
You were taken from us by this senseless and cowardly act. You have stood tall through your many years in law enforcement as a dedicated WARRIOR, and your service will never be forgotten. Rest in peace my brother. May God bless you, your family and all your friends in the law enforcement community.

May God bless you and may the five thugs burn in hell....
May God give you the rest you have so well earned with your 43 years of service to this country and your communities. In that 43 years of service you probably even helped one of those responsible at one time or another..thats what we do...and this is what thugs do. God Bless you and your family sir..rest in peace. One day law enforcement will be respected again..one day!

How sad someone who devoted his life to serve and protect us all, was taken from his family by a group of sub-humans, that should suffer the same violent death but of course they won't because they have rights. I too lost my husband in a useless, violent manner. My thoughts and prayer are with your family. THANK YOU CONSTABLE BAILEY for a life devoted to make our world a better place. You are a true HERO and will live on in our hearts.

What a tragedy that a man can give his entire life to serving the people of his community, and in one brief moment, it is all over. Constable Bailey, I admire the courage and dedication you gave to a calling that many of us have chosen. I pray that we all have the opportunity to make our mark just as you have. God bless and rest easy. You have done your duty.

To the family of State Constable Bailey:
When I came to the end of the road and the sun has set for me. Don't want no rites held in a gloom filled room, why cry for a soul set free. Miss me a little but not too long and don't sit with your head bow low. Remember the love we once shared, miss me but let me go.

Dear Bob;
For whatever it's worth, the bastards that did this are now going to face justice. And if the great State of South Carolina prosecutes them with the same vigor she is known for in the past, justice is GUARENTEED.
Thank you for the service your rendered to the people of South Carolina, and to the dedication your gave to our most honored profession. America has another name to add to her list of "America's Finest".
Our thin blue has been getting a lot thinner lately, unfortunately. But, thankfully, for our citizens we are sworn to protect, the line has held. May you rest in peace with God Almighty, and may the hurt and suffering your family must now endure, be shortened by the love of God, and the gratitude of all your brothers in blue. Amen

Palm Beach Sheriff's Office-Florida
