Another "cents-less" crime by a piece of senseless slime. I pray for the day when putting on the badge is not like putting on a bullseye. May God Bless you and your family, my brother.

Right now all your family wants is to have you back. They are probably telling stories of you that demonstrate what a selfless person you were. They are probably saying "It doesn't surprise me that he ran in without regard for himself." Those stories and the memories that your friends and family have spell out what made you a great police officer. Men and women such as yourself who run into the fire have a special place in heaven and in the hearts of all who knew you and even those who didn't. I hope that your children and your wife can hold onto that thought while they try to find their way through this horrible time and figure out how to go on without you. Thank you for your dedication and service. God speed.

To your family and fellow Policemen and women: please know that "Joe Citizens" like myself not only grieve with you, but follow and appreciate your brave ones' journeys. Rest in Heaven, good Sir.
