I am deeply sorry for the loss of this officer, since I subscribed to Officer Down Page, I had no way of understanding that as many Officer that have been killed in the line of duty just this month alone, where I live in californa its never on the news, and I can not belive my eyes to now know as many officer's that have died is , or does not rest easy with me, one is to many, and to the loved one's & freinds of this officer, I am truly sorry for you Great loss, but you need to know he is with the Almighty God, and we all will see him again in time. God Bless His Soul and may This True American Hero Be With God In heaven

I offer my sincer condolences for the loss of this brave officer, though I never had the opportunity to have met him. I have known others like him during my tenure as a Peace Office in Nevada with several departments including Winnemucca Police Department, Eureka County Sheriff's Department and several others. Sergeant Newbill and his family will be in my thoughts & Prayers, he server with Honor and will be remembered as one that has made the ultimate sacrifice, his family should be forever Proud.

Although I did not know Sergeant Newbill, I have lived in the area for over 15 years and Moscow is and has always been a quiet peaceful place--thanks to the efforts of people like Sergeant Newbill. All I can offer are my deepest condolences and my heartfelt gratitude for the service and ultimate sacrifice he gave in the line of duty.
