Lee, you always had a smile on your face, and you always brought one to mine. The University of Idaho Parking office wasn't always the happiest of places, what with parking fines and upset customers, etc., but you always saw the good over the bad, and you were a blessing to me when things occasionally got a bit wild there.

I am so sorry for the heartbreak you and the whole community must be feeling at this time of utter sorrow. I live a few counties away and it felt as if it was in my own backyard. Officer Newbill, you were one of a few officers I genuinely enjoyed seeing on a scene as I jumped out of the ambulance -- I knew things were in good hands and that the scene was safe for me to conduct my business when you were around.
