Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Tony Price Ogburn
Our department's thoughts and prayers go out to your family and to your law enforecement family. This tragedy was unfortunately a sign of our times. The public will never completely understand the loss of a brother officer unless they have been there! I pray we never forget the value of life and this, our calling, when we put on the uniform everyday. May God accept these officers into his kingdom!

I could not belive what I was hearing. And, in some ways, I still can't. Tony was a great deputy, a great person, and he was my friend. We worked quite a few security jobs together, and I always enjoyed talking with Tony. He was a very intelligent man, and I know that the Henderson County Sheriff's Office will sorely miss him. I will miss him. I take comfort in the fact that he knew God, and that he resides with Him now. We offer our condolences to the Ogburn family, and his extended family at the Henderson County Sheriff's Office.

Deputy ogburn was always smiling and joking no matter what time of night we called him for a transport. My prayers and thoughts are with his family at this difficult time. I know police officers, deputies, jailers all have a unique brotherhood and he will be missed by those "family" members as well
