Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Tony Price Ogburn
On behalf of the entire Barnes' family, I extend our heart felt words of comfort to the Ogburn family. We pray that you soon find peace in your lost. Police Officers around the country serve and protect the community in which they serve. We as American citzen, weither in Henderson County or Dallas County, all share the lost of a falling officers. The job they do takes bravey, patience and a natural love for serving others. My God continue to shine his grace and mercy on the families; and the law enforcement community. ALL MY BEST

Tony was a good man and officer. I shook his hand just four hours before he died. I will always remember that moment in time. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and fellow officers. We are a close group of officers in Henderson County and the loss of two Deputies and another wounded hits close to home.

To the family: You have my deepest sympathy. I feel as if I knew Deputy Ogburn. He was the uncle to my future daughter-in-law, and I can feel the love he shared with her through the memories as she speaks of him. He was a special person to her, and I want to say thanks for that. May God Bless you all as you try to put some understanding to this unspeakable act. Remember, only God can judge, so dont spend the rest of your resenting, just remember and try to get on with life... Again, God Bless You All... My prayers are with you... Emma

To the Family of Tony Ogburn,
I was privileged to have been the Chief of Police in Tony's home town at one time and to have shared many moments of reflection with him. On that Thursday I was fortunate enough to have shared lunch with Tony. He was in good spirits, as usual, and after a short argument, allowed me to pay for his meal. Tony brightened my day and parted with his resolute smile. Just know that your Police Family is praying for you and in your future hours of need are awaiting your call.
Godspeed, Tony, My Brother. You have now conquered death and have beaten us all to the prize.
