Paul was by far one of the most wonderful men I have ever known. I thank God each and every day for the love that he showed to my mom. Although he was not my biological father he was nothing short of my dad. Paul, you will always be remebered in my heart and the girls and you memory will never go unforgotten. May you rest in peace. I love you.

I never knew why I wanted to be a Police Officer. 15 years ago I went through the Police accadmy. It wasnt untill then that I realized why. One of our instructors told us why. You may be a Police Officer for 3-5 years and discover that you cant handle this job. But God makes us a Police Officer. That is why you are put on this earth. Rest in Peace now my brother. You have served your commuinty and the Great State of Texas WELL. God Bless your family, friends and your co-workers as you now patrol the streets of gold and serve as a guardian angel to us all. Protect us my brother. all of you at the Henderson Couty Sheriffs Office are in my prayers. God Bless.

Thank you all for your thoughts & prayers-the outpour has been amazing..as tears stream down my face, there is no way to explain the grief, anger, & sorrow I feel inside...my dad was the most wonderful man and was loved by all and would do anything for anyone...he was taken away much too soon-and we didn't even get to say goodbye...my heart is heavy, but I know he is in the most beautiful place...

Dad- may you rest in peace...I love you...xoxoxo

Our Hero Of Blue

Our hero of blue has fallen
A time of peace is calling
For you to go with God above
He'll give you wings of blue with love
To send a message for everyone
To remember a life and what was done
A dream fulfilled of our angel of blue
We honor you for the job you swore to do
A promise was kept from a hero like you
You put your life on the line each day
To protect and serve in everyway
And to give you thanks we will do our part
To share your message and to keep you in our heart

This is dedicated to all Police Officers and Families
