Frank-
You made the ultimate sacrifice and for that we're all forever grateful. You were a highly decorated deputy and you will be missed by all of those you knew you. I pray for you wife, daughter, and all your co-workers at the KCSD. Everyday when I put on my uniform I'm reminded of God's love for us by a prayer card in my locker. It reads "Lord help me to remember that nothing is going to happen to me today that you and I together cannot handle". Why the Lord took you away now, we'll never know, our faith will give us the strength to continue on as the Lords peacekeepers. Thank you and help keep us all safe as you watch down on us!

Dear Detective Frank Fabiano;
I was ending my night shift when I heard on the radio of your tragic but heroic death. Goose bumps rose on my arms when I thought of your wife and child. When I arrived home I gave my wife and two daughters a extra kiss and hug. You are a hero and will not be forgotten sir. My prayers for your family, friends and co-workers. You were a guardian for your community, now you are a guardian angel for the rest of us on the job. Godspeed.

The Monument
I never dreamed it would be me,
My name for all eternity.
Recorded here at this hallowed place,
Alas, my name, no more my face.
"In the line of duty," I hear them say.
My family now the price will pay.
My folded flag stained with their tears,
We only had those few short years.
The badge no longer on my chest,
I sleep now in eternal rest
My sword I pass to those behind
And pray they keep this thought in mind:
I never dreamed it would be me,
And with heavy heart and bended knee
I ask for all here from the past,
Dear God, let my name be the last.
