Rich, you will be deeply missed. Thank you for being such a good example, but even more thank you for being my friend. I pray for you and Cathy, and your family. YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN! May you rest in peace brother.

To the family, friends, and co-workers of Agent Goldstein, my heart and prayers go out to you in this time of tragic loss. Having lost my stepson just a few months ago to a line of duty death, I can relate to your grief. To patrol our nation's borders is a most noble endeavour and performed with few thanks for a job well done. Those who take on this task are a special breed and perform under the most hostile conditions. Agent Goldstein did not lose his life but gave it for his partner and his country. May the Lord wrap his loving arms arround those who survive him and hold you in his tender mercies. Rest in peace Agent Goldstein, your watch here is 10-7.

I'm so sorry for the loss of this husband, father, grandfather, and officer. It's so hard for anyone to loose a family member and yet the thin blue line carries on.

My blessings and God's love to Agent Goldstein's family. This man was a humanitarian and dedicated to the end. These agents do thankless, lonely jobs protecting out borders. Bless the peacemakers, they shall inherit the earth.

To the family, friends, and officers that knew Agent Goldstein, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you face the trying times ahead of you. Please know your not alone.

Here I am, lost in the light of the moon that comes through my window
Bathed in blue, the walls of my memory divide the thorns from the roses
It's you and the roses

Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way when I see your eyes
Now I'm living in your afterglow

Here I am, lost in the ashes of time, but who wants tomorrow?
In between the longing to hold you again
I'm caught in your shadow, I'm losing control
My mind drifts away, we only have today

Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way
I will sacrifice 'til the blinding day when I see your eyes
Now I'm living in your afterglow

When the veils are gone as I let you go, as I let you go

Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way, I will sacrifice
Now I'm living in your afterglow

Bathed in blue, the walls of my memory divide the thorns from the roses
It's you who is closest

How brave of you to try to save your K-9 partner. Not many people realize the bond between an offier and his k-9. They train for many months together learning each others strenghs and weaknesses. Soon each are connected to one another. The family and friends of Agent Goldstein will be in my prayers. You will always be remembered as a hero Agent Goldstein.

Thank you for your service and dedication to the citizens of the United States. There is no greater sacrifice than to give your life for another, especially if he is furry and has a wet nose. You were a great partner.

I pray that your family, friends and co-workers will be able to find peace and comfort in each other and share stories of the many laughs and smiles they shared with you during your life.

Rest well, warrior, your job here is done. Your brothers and sisters will carry on in your stead.
