Reflections for Corporal N. Bruce McKay, III

Corporal Bruce McKay may you rest in peace my brother. Thank you for your service my friend you are in a much better place, you will not be forgotten. To your family, friends & co-workers, you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God be with you and give you strength. You always have a family in the NYSP. To the Marine and his son who stopped to help an officer in need, I thank you for your courage and actions, once again you did your country proud. You went well above what most people would do in a situation like that. Once again the US Marines has shown what type of people they produce and who is guarding our country. I would like to commend you on being so brave and helping out the Law enforcement community. If it were not for you that piece of trash would still be walking around today, you did good Marine, real good!! One day you will rewarded for your actions. God Bless you and watch over you forever.

God speed my good man...I hope some day your daughter will come to understand and be as proud of you as we are...those of us left behind will now take your watch.

To the U.S. Marine: I have always said that while you are away protecting our families, we will be here protecting yours...now you have done both.

I haven't been able to get online for over a week due to viruses. When I came back I see we have lost more officers.
We thank Corporal McKay for his service and duty to his community. Hopefully the civilian that tried to come to his rescue will receive some gratification for what he did to take out a person that gave no thought or value to another person's life.
He will always be remembered for his dedication, and it is a shame to have to lose him at such a price.

To the family, friends, and officers that knew Corporal McKay, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you face the trying times ahead of you. Please know your not alone.

Here I am, lost in the light of the moon that comes through my window
Bathed in blue, the walls of my memory divide the thorns from the roses
It's you and the roses

Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way when I see your eyes
Now I'm living in your afterglow

Here I am, lost in the ashes of time, but who wants tomorrow?
In between the longing to hold you again
I'm caught in your shadow, I'm losing control
My mind drifts away, we only have today

Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way
I will sacrifice 'til the blinding day when I see your eyes
Now I'm living in your afterglow

When the veils are gone as I let you go, as I let you go

Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way, I will sacrifice
Now I'm living in your afterglow

Bathed in blue, the walls of my memory divide the thorns from the roses
It's you who is closest
