It does not matter what anyone thought of Cpl Bruce McKay. He was a sworn law enforcement officer who was doing his job. He was a twelve year veteran of a small police force. He believed in protecting society and setting a strong example for his daughter and family.
It is rather evident that Liko Kenny never worked an honest day in his pathetic life. The vast majority of society is able to function in a healthy manner and interact with one another. A small portion of the population choose to live in an isolated manner and chop firewood.
Why was Kenny in possesion of a loaded .45 caliber handgun? Are the raccoons and deer that vicious in northern NH? Liko Kenny was a pathetic loser and Bode Miller is a joke.
Bruce McKay took an oath to protect and serve. He had every right to pursue a motorist who was fleeing from a legitimate traffic stop. That motorist had no right to shoot Cpl McKay four times and run over him with a motor vehicle.
May GOD bless Cpl McKay's daughter, fiancee and the Franconia Police Department.
May GOD bless the Marine and his son who showed immense valor and bravery when they stepped forth to stop a cop killer.

To the McKay Family and Franconia PD, I am sorry for your loss as you all lost a loved one that day. Unfortunately there are people in this world who refuse to be law abiding citizens, but instead choose to be murderers.
To the Marine who risked his own life to try and protect Cpl McKay, thank you and god bless you. If there were more people in this world like you it would be a lot better place. You have the heart of a Marine and Police Officer in you.

When a person commits such a heinous crime such as this, they should immediatly lose all rights as a human being and even any animal protection laws for that matter. People like this scumbag should be put through a meat grinder on the spot; and you'll see crimes like this will begin to cease in this country. There is simply no fear to commit crime; this must change. I wish I was there; I would have tied this turd to the bumper of his oun car and drove off until he fell apart in pieces. Sorry about the graphic nature but it pisses me off to know that people like this walk the earth. To the USMC that put his life and the life of his son on the line to rid this earth from this turd; Your actions are greatly appreaciated by all Law Enforcemnt. Corporal: God Speed- And may the Lord bless your friends and family during this awful time.

My heart breaks yet again as I read about another fallen officer. May God bless and hold near Corporal McKay. May God also comfort Corporal McKay's daughter and the rest of his family and friends, I can't even imagine their grief and sadness.
Every night when I get my 2 yr. old son ready for bed and we say our prayers we end with: "God bless all the policemen, firemen, and soldiers who keep us safe. Dear Jesus, if you should call one of them home tonight give them eternal peace and grant their family the strenth and courage to carry on. Amen." On May 11, 2007 we prayed for Corporal McKay and his family.
Finally, words cannot express the gratitude that we feel for the Marine and his son. It is almost unheard of for someone to step in and help one of us when we need it. Thank you for being selfless and teaching your son to do what is right, for doing what is right is not just a job--it is a way of life.

It enraged me to read an article online today about this fine Hero whose life was tragically taken. It is because of dedicated and courageous Officers like Corporal McKay that we live the way we do. To question motives or the validity of Corporal McKay's actions is absolutely unacceptable. He died while serving his community, shame on those that do not stand behind him after he gave his life to protect them. He knew he put his life on the line to go to work everyday and still chose to do it, it's a select few that have the heart to do that. I pray that the correct honor and respect be given and that his fiance, daughter, fellow brothers in law enforcement and loved ones will be protected from the hurtful words that are out there. May peace be with you that are left behind, know that his death is not in vain and he is a true hero. God Bless you and may the Lord keep you as you grieve. Corporal McKay will never be forgotten.

It really pisses me off to read this article. A police officer, someone who puts his life on the line everytime he puts on his uniform was shot 4 times and then run over by a car.
What the hell?
The article said that his (Floyd) actions in shooting Kenny were justified.
Any decent person knows that. That statement was written for all of the "pieces of shit" that don't (or know how to) uphold the law.
The article then went on to say that Cpl. McKay had "prior dealings" with Kenny (the shooter) and that Kenny had the right to request another officer.
Woody Miller (Kennys uncle) agreed stating that "the animosity between them was great".
I am a law-abiding citizen so I really didn't know that you could request another officer. On another note, If you break the law,you give up your rights.
So to you Woody---STOP TALKING-- Everytime you make a comment it makes you sound more ignorant than the prior comment. Woody Miller also claimed that McKay had once "beaten" Kenny. Any decent citizen knows that the police don't just "BEAT" people. If you are a decent person you know that Kenny resisted and McKay did what it took to restrain him. I'm very sure that it wasn't a "beat down".
Did it ever occur to the Kenny/Miller family that the problem was Liko and no one else. He was 24 yrs old and chose to spend his life cutting firewood and picking fiddlehead ferns. How about going to the police academy or joining the marines and making something of yourself?
Instead he chose to be a cop killer and spend eternity in HELL.
To the Miller/Kenny family, you should be so proud.
To you Bode Miller. Who are you? I have done some research on the internet and all that I can come up with is that 'you are a piece of shit and a disgrace to our country'.
To you Greg Floyd Sr. Thank you for your service to the citizens of Franconia N.H. and to this country. I thank God everyday for people like you.
To you Greg Floyd Jr. You put your life on the line to save another. You are a hero as well as your father. Someday CPL McKay will thank you ( in heaven).
To you CPL. McKay, Rest in peace. You did your job and you did it well. Your brothers and sisters will take your watch from here.
To you Liko Kenny--May you burn in hell for eternity.
I realize that my comments are harsh but I have a reason. I an innocent, defenseless woman from Columbus Ohio just trying to get by. On 01/06/05, I was working at a bank on Broad St. when an armed robber entered and attempted to take over the bank. We had a police officer working there and the robber immediately opened fire on him. The officer was shot in the heart just above his vest but still managed to fire 7 shots hitting the robber twice and preventing him from hurting anyone else or obtaining any money.
I am here today to write this because a police officer honored his oath.
To sum it up, I hope that nobody has to go thru what I did to realize what law enforcement officers are up against everytime they put on their uniforms and leave their house.
The next time you see a police officer or someone in the military take just a minute and thank them for their service and then thank God that they are protecting us.
