I hope people remember that LEOs run towards danger instead of away from it in order to serve and protect. This brave officer did exactly that and paid the ultimate price. I hope his bravery is never forgotten. My prayers are with his family and department.

You gave your life trying to save others and in my eyes and I'm sure in Gods eyes that is the most noble thing any man can do. You truly are a hero and your reward is Heaven. The storm may have taken the town but your bravery will serve as inspiration to others to rebuild. You will continue to protect and serve after your duty on earth is done. Thank you officer Buckman.

You are a hero. You are what law enforcement is all about. To risk your own life during such a devastating tornado to save the lives of others is the ultimate sacrifice. There is no way you could have known this would have been your last act as a police officer. But you did know it was an extremely dangerous one, and faced it with honor. May God put his loving arms around your friends and family and comfort them.

WHAT AN EXAMPLE OF THE WIDE SPECTRUM OF DANGERS THAT OFFICERS FACE EVERYDAY. THIS SACERFICE IS JUST AS NOBLE AS THOSE WHO HAVE FALLEN AT THE HANDS OF LAW BREAKERS. I HOPE THAT THE FAMILY AND FELLOW OFFICERS FIND COMFORT IN THIS SAD TIME. WETHER IT BY BY TORNADO OR BULLETS, NO SACERFICE IS UNAPPRECIATED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE OFFICER BUCKMAN, WE ARE ALL IN YOUR DEBT.
