Lisa,
You will be missed by your brothers and sisters in blue. You will be missed by your friends and your family. There will be a void on 4th watch without your quirky sense of humor and your unique laugh. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

The facts of the matter. are really quite simple
The knowledge of why is what eludes us for now
A reason for everything will be given when needed
But all that we know, is the when, where and how
The reality of life can be so suddenly final
Thoughts and the World start to slow and get blurred
Next thing you know, time has no meaning
Emotions are flowing. so easily stirred
Surrounded by loved ones. but alone in the crowd
Enveloped by memories, mixed with jiggers of pain
We cry for the good and the bad times we shared
One tear at a time from the grief well we drain
Every tear that is shed is a step towards serenity
Each drop is a part of a burden relieved
As day fades to night. we look to the heavens
Searching for signs that our prayers are received
Then after the talks, the cards and the tears
We are left with ourselves and a bundle of nerves
As sure as it's time, that will help fill the void
It's the tears that will give us the peace we deserve

Aloha Police Officer Lisa Beaulieu,
Thank you for your service and dedication to your community and your country. You and all officers that continue to lay your lives on the line and pay the ultimate sacrifice to keep our communities and country safe, will NEVER be forgotten.
I personally pledge, (after one of Hawaii's own, Honolulu Police Officer Steve Favela, lost his life last year in the line of duty protecting our Commander in Chief, President George W. Bush), to become a continuum; a keeper of the ODMP light. That sacred light is in the form of an ODMP tribute. People from all walks of life, regardless of age, race, religion, profession, education, and geographical location can share here.
This "LIGHT" comes from within the heart and soul of every person who cares to share a word or two on behalf of each and every fallen officer. Every fallen officer is a hero. The ODMP; Officer Down Memorial Page gives us a place to come together and share our feelings as one family. May we find solace as we give solace to the families who have lost a loved one.
Police Officer Lisa Beaulieu, God Bless you. You are a true hero. As we say in Hawaii, “You are`Ohana.” “You are Family.” No one will ever be able to replace you for you were unique and very special. No one; not in this lifetime. May God allow you to rest in His Divine peace. I wish you, your parents, your loved ones, and your fellow officers, peace and love beyond all understanding. I honor you today. You are the 1st female officer to pay the ultimate sacrifice this year and I, as a woman, take your death very personally. Tonight in Hawaii, a candle will be lit in your honor by someone who knows you not, yet loves you so. You have and will forever touch the lives of generations to come. May God Bless you and your parents. You will NEVER be forgotten.

May God Bless you Officer Beaulieu. May God give your family comfort and peace in this trying time of mis-understanding. God has his ways of doing things and even though they do not always seem to be the right way..our faith in him is there to help overcome the grief, the loss and the sorrow and the anger. God Speed, God Bless.

Everyday we see eachother and take for granted the fact that we will all be there the next day, very sadly this was not the case today. You always had a smile on your face and loved the job you did. Thank you for your dedication, you will always be remembered and remind us to never take eachother for granted.

Thank you for your service to your department and community. You were doing what you could to be safe by approaching on the passenger side of a vehicle but you still were struck and made a brave sacrifice!

It really pains me to see another name added on the list. I pray your family looks to God for guidance and strength during this terribel time. I'll always do my part and take every drunk driver to jail I come across. Hopefully this will keep one less name of the memorial. God bless you and your family.

Lisa was the first female officer to be killed in the line of duty in this Department's history. As a fellow Officer who was at the scene when it happened, we tried to save her but it was too late. At least we got the guy that did this to her. We will miss you Lisa.
