Reflections for Police Officer Lisa Renee Ligda-Beaulieu
Lisa and I never met, but I’ve come to know and admire her. In 2008, I rode in Lisa’s honor during the Police Unity Tour. I decided to ride for her because I had been seriously injured under circumstances similar to those that took her life. April 27, 2021 is a sad anniversary. It marks the 14th year since we lost Lisa. It’s hard on her family and friends. I’ve had the privilege of meeting some of them and her absence has left an empty space in their lives. They think of Lisa constantly. God bless you and your family Lisa and thank you for your service and sacrifice.

NEVER FORGOTTEN!
Today is a sad anniversary. On April 27, 2007 Officer Lisa Beaulieu of the Beaumont, Texas Police Department lost her life to a selfish, thoughtless and useless man whose name is unimportant. He thought drinking and driving was a good idea.
Although we never met Lisa, I’ve come to know and admire you through your family and friends. God bless you and your family and thank you for your service and sacrifice.

On this day ten years ago Officer Lisa Beaulieu’s life was taken by a thoughtless, selfish and worthless man who thought drinking and driving was a good idea. It wasn’t a good idea and never is! This breathtaking young woman, so full of life and possibilities, was taken from us, but her legacy lives on in those whose lives she touched. God bless you Officer Beaulieu and thank you for your service and sacrifice.

On this day nine years ago we lost Lisa to a man who didn’t know or care about the catastrophic costs of his drunk driving. This lovely young woman, with so much to live for, has passed on, but her legacy lives on in those she touched. God bless you Officer Beaulieu and thank you for your service and sacrifice.

Rest in Peace Officer Lisa Beaulieu. Thank You for your Service and Sacrifice protecting the citizens of Beaumont, Texas.
I Pray for Peace for your Family, Friends and Co-Workers. I also Pray that the hounds of hell forever pursue the drunkard that caused your death. May he know no Peace on this earth. May his pain and suffering exceed all others. I Pray that he suffer 100 fold what you and your family has endured.
Amen.
We are too lenient on drunk drivers. Life should be mandatory for any intoxication related death!

Going through more pictures and I keep finding more and more of you. That smile and your eyes could light up a room. Your laugh was infectious. Just know you are still missed more than you know every day.

My sister was the glue that held our family together. She got us meeting again for Thanksgiving after my grandmother passed and the tradition faded away.
The last time I saw her we made plans at my grandfather's funeral to have lunch and the next week she was gone. Hard to believe that was 8 years ago, now.
You're loved. You're missed.

Law Enforcement Officers put there lives on the line every single day to keep the public as safe as possible. This LEO is a child who has grieving parents. A parent should never outlive their child but this intoxicated driver robbed family and friends of a loved one. Denying one a driver's license does indeed not stop them in any way shape or form from operating a motor vehicle. 11 years is way too light a sentence for murder. When that person chose to drink and drive that is basically the crime that they did commit.

Its a shame that a person have to die while attempting to help others This accident could have been prevented, 11 year sentence does not bring back Lisa nor does it help the family members of Beaulieu. denying the person a license to drive does not prevent him from operating another automobile its a sad day for all. 11 years of community service to victims of D.U.I.'s
