To the family and friends of Officer Hoffman, I offer my condolences. I am the wife of an officer and can't imagine what I would do w/o him. God had a plan and none of us here on earth will understand why until we reach the gates of Heaven. Many will come after you, but none will never take the place of you.

Luke - your death has left a dark shadow over the police community. We are devastated by this tragedy that took your young life and ended your watch far too soon. I know you are truly missed by the 4D and by the law enforcement community as a whole.
To Luke's family and friends - even though I did not know Luke personally, I ache for you all during this time. Luke's death is a loss that we all feel deeply. Please know that you are all in our prayers.

The tragic sense of loss is felt by all who come to rely on law enforcement officers to keep our cities and communities safe. Honor the memory and service of Officer Hoffman by celebrating the accomplishments in his life. Any man or woman who willingly places themselve in harms way to serve others are true heroes who somtimes make the ultimate sacrifice. Shoulder the burden of keeping the citizens of your jurisdiction safe in his memory.

To the family and friends of Police Officer Luke T. Hoffman,
Although I do not know you and you do not know me, nor are you likely to ever know me I want to express my heartfelt sympathy for the loss of Luke T. Hoffman. The dedication that our officers exhibit is something that I will always be grateful for. You can be proud of your son, your friend for it is because men like him have made our streets and cities safe for all of us. No expression of sympathy will fill the void you have in your heart, but please remember that there are many who appreciate all that he and his fellow officers have done for us. Trust in the Lord and know that Luke is now in a far better place awaiting the day when he will be reunited with you in heaven. May God give you the peace that surpasses all understnding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
