Five years...hardly seems possible. I sometimes feel that so many here have moved on, forgotten about what happened here. Was just another day in their lives. Well, it may have been just another day in my life, but a day that has profoundly impacted me in a way many don't understand, not even myself sometimes. I have always been proud to call myself the daughter of a NYS Trooper. Maybe that is why this hurt me so much, to know that you would miss out on all that Isabella would do and succeed at. Not to mention we lost you in our own backyard. Hit way too close to home. I keep you, your Mom and all your family close in my heart everyday. I will always remember #4531.

I can not believe it has been five years since you were taken from us. A life cut way too short. I was incredibly proud when you told me you made the MRT. I know how hard you worked to get on the team and to watch you train your ass off getting ready was inspiring to say the least. As hard as the selection process is I never doubted you could make it. And still five years later there as i sit here looking at old pictures, i am incredibly proud of what you accomplished.

For about a week now i have been thinking about what i would post for the five year anniversary of your passing. There is not a day that has gone by that i have not stopped and thought about you and sometimes wonder who you would be today. I can say with certainty that you would be you. You never forgot where you came from and no title or special detail
would change you.

I am forever thankful for the times we spent together both at work and off duty. Although I transfered to Albany and did not see you as often as when i worked Coxsackie and Hunter, when we did see or talk to eachother it was as if we didnt miss a beat. Thank you for the memories and laughs. Even to this day i think about some of the calls we worked together and conversations we had and laugh as if it just happened.

Keep smiling down on us and rest easy we will take it from here. I miss you brother.

I came down and sat with you for a while today at the cemetary to spend some time with you on your birthday. It all seems like just yesterday and the pain is still there. however the thoughts and stories from calls you and I were on turned my sorrow and missing you into a few laugh out loud moments and a ton of chuckles.......Still making me smile after thease years brink. Thank you for all of the great memories. I miss you and I love you as a Brother. friend, and a great person. And if you had any hand in a certain crash that took place on June 28 I want to thank you..
Keep smiling down on us Brink. You make the world a better place.

It is hard to believe it has been 4 years since Brink was taken from us.Not a single day goes by that I am not reminded in some way or another of you. I still to this day drive by places and remember calls that he and I worked together and ...remember some of the helarious comments that we would pass to eachother under our breath. 4 Years and the pain of losing you is still as if it was only yesterday. The pictures, the smiles and the memories all make it go away if only for a brief moment but for that brief moment it reminds me that you are still Always on my mind and forever in my heart. Keep Smiling down on us Brink. You are missed and will never be forgotten. Super Smurf #4531

Three years ago, but for many it feels like only yesterday. May God watch over your family today and everyday. Having met both Barbara and your Mother, I wish them strength and encouragment each and everyday. To little Isabella, continue to be determined and strong-willed....and remember your Daddy is watching....always.
