Your heroism and service is honored today, the 77th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

My Great-Uncle Fred -
His service as a police officer in Lee County, VA is appreciated. I'm so sorry the officer who shot him was sentenced to such a short jail term. I never met Uncle Fred, but have been told by the Arnold family that he was a good man........Gail (Arnold) Sims

Deputy Sheriff Arnold,
It has taken over 72 years, but you are finally being honored. I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Lee County. I think it's a crime that your murderer only served 15 years, he should have gotten life at at the very minimum.
