It always saddens me to see a law enforcement officer killed in the line of duty, especially another deputy from my state. My thoughts and prayers go out to Deputy Saunders' family, friends and agency. Law Enforcement is a family, and mourns your lose. The State of Virginia has lost another hero to the preservation of the thin blue line. Rest in peace brother, we'll take it from here.
