In loving memory of one of Charlotte's finest that was killed in the line of duty 4 years ago today. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you whether it be when I hear a song or repeat a phrase that you use to say. I miss you terribly my friend. I will see you again one day.

Jeff,
Another year passes and you are still thought of often and fondly. My grief has somewhat tempered by the justice received even though no amount would ever be enough. We still tell stories about serving with you. It was always an honor.
I miss you bud.

31 March 2007 was a life changing day for me. I always thought as a cop I was always "ready for anything". Then you were taken from us. I was wrong. When I met you that cool January day at the CMPD Academy I knew right then I was meeting a man who would become a true friend. When I found out you were a fellow Marine the bond became strong, but it was when I discovered your character and belief that "Its All Good" was when I was honored to be your true friend. When you were taken I vowed I would take care of Jennifer and I promise you I will. I will not rest until justice is served. There have several times on the streets where I knew that you were covering my "Six" and probrably kept me from getting hurt. I know you and Sean are watching over all CMPD officers as they continue to protect the city of Charlotte and this great Nation. All I have is you memories and I have learned to accept that. It was a short time I knew you but it was some of the best times. Love and Miss you Brother. Semper FIdelis. Rudy out

Another year come and gone and your absence is still profound. Although it is difficult, we continue to carry on and perform our duties, doing our best to live up to the same standard that you carried and to be worthy of your sacrifice. We carry both the burden and the privilege of that remembrance, with pride.
I miss you bud.

Three years, brother. Gonna be thinking about you and Sean tomorrow as well as your families. Still seems like yesterday and everyone still talks like it was. You both are still missed by everyone and it seems like each and every day I learn of something new to add to the legacy you left. Semper Fi.

Jeff,
It’s been 3 years since you were taken from us. I think of you often and miss you more than words can express. Every time I hear the song “I Can Only Imagine” on the radio I think of you. You were truly a special person, friend and officer. I miss working by your side on the streets. One day we shall see each other again and we will have a lot of catching up to do!
Love you Brother!!

Thinking of your loved ones today and everyday. I know the daily struggles they face without you and the terrible pain within their hearts. God, wrap your loving arms around them and help them with their grief and let them feel your presence.
