Capt. Wells, today marks the 88th anniversary of your tragic death. You saw your roll in law enforcement as a roll in public safety as a whole and tried to help firefighters doing their job. You are a hero. The 38 years that the City of Newburyport had you in its service was no doubt 38 very fruitful years.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
