Herbert J. Bischoff,

You never got the chance to meet your one and only child, Herbert W. Bischoff, having been killed in the line of duty just one month before he was born. Regardless, your son, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren (and counting) have not and will not ever forget you. ❤️️

Phyllis,

Thank you very much for those kind words. Mr. Bischoff was killed in the line of duty on March 13, 1921. He was only 23 years old. His first child was born 33 days later...Herbert W. Bischoff. It was nice to find this site and see that others have shown respect for his sacrifice, even all these years later. I'm sorry for your loss and thank Larry for his service and sacrifice too. God bless you.
