Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the one hundred and fourth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.

Deputy Ratliff Sir,
Thank you for your ultimate sacrifice for us. Today I salute you and wanted you to know that you are not forgotten. Hero's live forever in our hearts. As I read your story Sir, and that you are buried in an unmarked grave, but God knows where they lay your body, but your soul is resting with Him. The soul lives forever, just as our Hero's live in our hearts. We will meet someday Sir, until then rest in peace. Mother-in-law of: Sgt. Jeffrey T. Hewitt EOW 04-04-04 Asheville, North Carolina

Deputy Ratliff, even though 100 years has past since your death, it is not so far gone that we are not thankful for your service and sacrifice.
