"DON'T GRIEVE FOR ME"
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path god laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard him call,
I turn my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Task left undone must stay that way,
I found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
Than fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Ah yes, these things I, too, will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow,
My life's been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.
I believe in God and believe I will see you again.
WE HOPE THESE FEW WORDS WILL HELP YOU THROUGH THE NEXT FEW DAYS OF DEEP SORROW.

We are never prepared for the loss of a loved one, but God is always prepared to help us through that loss. May His presence begin the healing in your heart and soul, and may His love surround you with the comfort only He can give.
Thank you for your unselfish service to others. You will never be forgotten. May you rest in peace.

It was just a few years ago that My agency lost its first and only officer in the line of duty. I know first hand what it is like to have lost a friend, loved one and co-worker long before we intended to separate. But in times like this one must turn to god and know that as hard as it might be for us, he had this day planned since the moment of conception. My prayers and salutation go out first to the fallen officers, Thank you for making our country a safer place to live, work and play. Next To the ones left behind, I pray that you will have strength and a sence of peace through the coming days. Know they are in a better place.
With love,
A fellow Officer
