Auxiliary Officers should be armed. This would have not happened. I recieved a call for Auxiliary Police and I will not be going in unless I'm armed. I would rather be a Marine. People will not take us serious until they see that this is real life that their dealing with. God Bless to the families

Eugene,

I went to your funeral. It broke my heart to see your family suffering. But it made me proud to see so many of your bothers supporting them. Thank you for your sacrifice to our great city. You had a great future ahead of you. I am proud of what you did. Please look down upon us from your heavenly post with mercy and bravery. You are missed. God bless you.

On the 2nd anniversary of Officer Marshalik's death, we honored his service in our patrol briefing by reading his entry from ODMP. Each day, we honor one fallen officer on the anniversary of their death so as to keep them in our thoughts, and also to remind us of the dangers inherent in our job. Officer Marshalik is not forgotten.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 2nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect or love. Your memory will always be honored and revered. In reading the many loving reflections left, I can see that Eugene was an amazing young man who is loved and missed by so many. I hold his family in my heart's embrace today and ask that God grant them solace.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the service Eugene gave to his community and the citizens of New York, and the supreme sacrfice he and his family made on March 14, 2007.

Rest In Peace, Eugene.
