Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Kevin Carper

Still in my thoughts and remembered often. Coming up on your 10 year anniversary and hoping everything goes well for the friends and family of those who have been blessed to know you.

The 10th year is coming up soon.. still unbelievable how fast time has went. With all of these senseless, violent incidents with officers across this country, my heart is extremely heavy for the fallen officers and their families.. it's like a stab in the heart over and over because I feel their pain and anger. But, I know if you were still here, you'd try your hardest to make a difference. You were a great example of what a good person/officer is! Also, you may have been the last one in the bunch to have kids, but you weren't the last to have grandchildren! I got to meet them for the first time last month and they're absolutely beautiful and precious. You'd be one proud grandpa! Your girls are also beautiful, healthy and happy and that's exactly how you'd want it. I try to see them whenever I can. I love and miss you! Continue to watch over the family.
