To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. . Your heroism and service is honored today, the 91rstth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Your brother and sister officers are still fighting for good.May you Rest in Peace knowing that they will continue what you started.

Dear Sheriff:
Not much has changed since you made the ultimate sacrifice 86 years ago. Police officers are still being gunned down, and felons are still getting a new trial based upon hocus pocus. I can't and I won't muddy up this sacred site with any more discussion of the COWARD who did this horrific act.
Regrettably a hero such as yourself has had to wait 86 years for the respect and recognition you rightly deserve. But a hero you were, and a hero you remain. But that still doesn't ease the pain that another officer gave his life, and your family had to deal with such a tragic loss.
In your time, it was illegal alcohol. In our time, it's narcotics and guns. But for all time, we, your fellow brothers in blue, will do what we swore to do, and take the fight to these punk criminals. AND WE SHALL PREVAIL.
Thank you for you service, not only to the great state of Georgia, but to America as well. May God continue to bless you and your descendants, and forever may he bless our police officers. Amen
