Ecclesiastes 3
A Time for Everything
1 For everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven.
2 A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
3 A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
4 A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
5 A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
6 A time to search and a time to quit searching.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
7 A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak.
8 A time to love and a time to hate.
A time for war and a time for peace.

Rest in Peace, my friend in blue.
We have the watch and will be true.
True to you, your honor and all you held dear.
Your family, friends and all that were near.

Walk with God, my comrade in heaven.
He has always been the Chief of our hearts, minds and souls. That much is a given.
Now await your loved ones in glory, for you will surely see them again.

Rest easy my comrade, we have the watch and won't forget.

God Knows
You have my deepest sympathy,
but it really doesn't help.
Your grief goes beyond what words can express.

There's nothing anyone can say,
and nothing we can do to heal your broken heart
or take away your pain.

Let God take you in His arms and cover you with His love.
He knows the depth of your grief
and only He can give you peace.
He knows it will take time for your heart to heal,
and your loved one has a place that no one else can fill.

If there's any comfort let it be in this,
your loved one is with Jesus,
in a home that's filled with bliss.
There are no tears in Heaven, no more heartache and no pain,
only love and happiness for all eternity.

We must go on living and do the best we can,
then when Jesus calls our name
we will be with him again.

Remember this:
There is sacredness in tears.
They are not the mark of weakness, but of power.
They speak more eloquently than 10,000 tongues.
They are the messengers of overwhelming grief,
of deep contrition, and of
UNSPEAKABLE LOVE.
To all who knew PO Jerabek that we hope the words above will help you through some difficult times.
Every day I come here to the ODMP, and hope that there will not be another name added to the list. We send our prayers and thoughts to you all and let you know that you are not alone and hope that GOD will be walking with you in these hard days ahead.

My prayers are with the family and friends of Officer Jerabek. My husband was recently told his blood pressure and cholesterol were to high. The doc said he was a heart attack waiting to happen and he is 33. I am so sorry that your outcome wasn't the same. I will remember your name each time my husband complains about taking a pill each day. Thank you for your service.

To the family, friends, and officers that knew Officer Jerabek, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you face the trying times ahead of you. Please know your not alone.

Here I am, lost in the light of the moon that comes through my window
Bathed in blue, the walls of my memory divide the thorns from the roses
It's you and the roses

Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way when I see your eyes
Now I'm living in your afterglow

Here I am, lost in the ashes of time, but who wants tomorrow?
In between the longing to hold you again
I'm caught in your shadow, I'm losing control
My mind drifts away, we only have today

Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way
I will sacrifice 'til the blinding day when I see your eyes
Now I'm living in your afterglow

When the veils are gone as I let you go, as I let you go

Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow
Heal me from all this sorrow
As I let you go I will find my way, I will sacrifice
Now I'm living in your afterglow

Bathed in blue, the walls of my memory divide the thorns from the roses
It's you who is closest

Officer Jerabeck,
Thank you for your many years of service to the City of St. Louis, know your death is not in vain, you probably don't know it but I imagine you touched everyone that you came in touch with the stories you told the wisdom you gave to the younger officers just coming up the ranks. Go and rest with God now, the others will take over your watch. To the Officers of the St. Louis Police Department, be strong, & may God pour out his blessings & healing upon you. Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peace keepers, for they shall be called the children of God.
