Hey Keith....as I sit here in the dark with my blue light on ...I keep looking at the clock. In just a few, 9 years ago Dad called me to tell me that horrible, horrible news. Mom was on her way to take care of the kids. That phone call...that memory is forever etched in my mind. I remember just sitting there not able to breathe. As I sit here this early morning hour...that feeling comes over me like waves. You are always on my mind, in my heart, and forever guiding me what to do next. I firmly believe you have a hand in quite a bit of it. I miss you and your sense of humor...your laugh...your smile! I miss you! My heart just hurts knowing what the family...Mom and Dad feel. Neil and I have that continued feeling of incompleteness without you...we were the three musketeers....we love you, we miss you, never a day goes by without thinking about you! As the time gets closer....my heart just hurts so much! I can't believe it still that you are gone. So many times I've almost said that I need to call you to tell you or that the kids need to let you know something...it still seems so unreal, but then the pain and memories come around that remind me that you are gone. Please continue to help protect your brothers and sisters in blue. No family should EVER feel that pain ever! Just know you are thought about every day, missed more than one could think possible, and loved with all our hearts! I love you! The time now is about the time Dad called me...so I'm sending this now with hopes you know all of this and it gets to you!

I cannot believe another year has passed. Each year I think maybe this year the heartache won't be as bad. Guess what it doesn't work that way. I don't think a day passes that I don't think of you or see a sign that reminds me to remember you. Thank you for always looking out for our guys! #812

On a day that reminds us of your Unit number, we lost a K9. Falco was a beautiful German Shepherd assisgned to Officer Sam Snowberger. Falco was a young and emerging K9. He possessed exceptional vigor and zeal. He began to excel due to constant and committed training by his partner. Officer Snowberger is an exceptional handler and was always looking for ways to improve Falco's performance. It could be comfortably said that no K9 team trained harder. Falco was just coming into his own, displaying growing confidence and abilities that were only limited by what was asked of him.
He died, like you, serving the public good. He most likely passed taking a bullet that was meant for his handler. I trust that you will look after him and know you will appreciate the company of a hero.
