Rest in Peace Deputy Rosa.
I remember the morning seeing the news cast that you had been taken from us. I couldn't help but just sit and total shock that only 5 days earlier we had lost Deputy Bain and now you. It's an eerie reminder of the people we have to sometimes deal with. Watch over us and know we will take it from here. Thank you Deputy Rosa, Rest in Peace.

We offer our heartfelt sympathy to the family, friends and colleagues of Deputy Rosa and we honor her distinguished service to the cause of justice and peace. Sadly, our nation has lost one of its finest citizens, a community has lost a friend and protector, and a family has lost an example of character and courage who they will love and respect forever. Today, because of the sacrifice Deputy Rosa has made, the house of freedom is stronger, sturdier, and more secure.
To the family and friends of Deputy Rosa, I want to say that a lot of people pray for you, and my hope is that their prayers will give you the strength necessary to move on. Just as you were always with her when he walked the beat or patrolled the streets, know that she will always be with you - wherever you may be. In the days to follow, may you be strengthened by the fact that Deputy Rosa is distinguished by exceptional courage and will always be admired for her brave deeds and noble qualities. You, your family and your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

To the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department, Friends and Family of Deputy Rosa:
My deepest, hearfelt sympahties are with all of you during this time; as we too recently lost a fellow Deputy and friend at the CPSO January 25, 2007.
There are really never any words that can truly express the feelings one has when we lose a fellow officer. Simply put, those who wear the badge are not just individuals out doing a job; they are part of an extraordinary family. A family that when one hurts, we all share in that hurt.
May GOD Bless and comfort each of you. And remember Isaah 40:31, "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up on eagles wings, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint" - I pray the God will give you His strength.
