Your heroism and service is honored today, the 79th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

The Ossining Village community, and our exemplary Police Chief Joseph A. Burton, Jr., and his Department, have not forgotten our 2 fallen officers. The Birdsall/Fagan Police/Court Facility is located on Spring Street. In the lobby is a plaque honoring PO Birdsall and PO Fagan. Let us all hope that no other name will ever be added to this plaque.
