The feud that want go away. A town that took sides where both parties were respected until the killing started. Several books were written such as " Gunsmoke in the Redlands by Joe F. Combs". These people who were taking law into their own hands, settling grudges with gunfire, were not foreign gansters rubbing out their rivals, but the substantial citizenry of the area.

My heart goes out to my Wall family members all Great uncles of mine, G.W. Wall, Pez Wall, and Eugene Wall lost in that feud. I tell the story of it regularly to people in my store in the High Mountain Village of Idyllwild California where I have lived for 36 years now. Here I am known as "Mountain Mike". The surviving Brother and Son of "Uncle Buck" Wall, Brune Wall whom was sent by his father to the Indian Territory of Oklahoma on the Chisolm Trail in a covered wagon with Kate Polk, who is related to President James K. Polk "My 7th cousin", Are my Great Grand parents. They settled in what is now Minko, Oklahoma on the Canadian River. My Grandmother is their Daughter, Opal Wall Who Married Paul B. Allen From Pauls Valley Oklahoma. Their sons John "uncle" and, Roy Allen "My father" grew up in Pauls Valley. I would like to hear from any long lost relatives. May all these great people Rest in peace. John Allen 84, still lives in New Mexico and is the Inventor of the Bio Sphere 2.
