Heath, just sitting around the office, waiting on Pick to get back from CCDC with arrest warrants and Search Warrant. decided to right you a note.
its been awhile, but i still think about all the things we did (Sharkys) is the one thing that i think about and laugh to myself about. you know what i'm talking about, as well as shelly and faye. i also think alot about 01-11-2007 too.
i go by your grave every chance i get, to say hi, and reflect on memorys good and bad, but reflect on them nontheless. i have had fun in the recent two years going to nebraska to hunt mule deer and whitetails, as you know cause i am sure you were with us. samantha and mason are growing up into young adults now, so watch over them, and protect them as i know you will. i hope to see you in the future, but don't take it wrong when i say, i hope it is not no time in the near future.
i keep your picture in my office so i can view it daily.
shelly is still missing you, but has gone on with her life as dhe should have.
talk to you later, got a search warrant and arrest warrants to serve.

This time of the year reminds me of the last night that I saw you at the Christmas Party. Your smiling face and you always taking the time out of your schedule to be a wonderful friend. You meant more to people than I think you ever realized. You are a wonderful combination of Mr. Harold and Ms. Mel... Thank you both for that. During this season we think of you both often... please know that we still remember you in prayer. We also wish you a Blessed Holiday Season.

WOW! Four years here at the police department, and it is coming to end today (3-28-2009), well at least full-time. I truly am going to miss this place Heath. I always wanted to get out, but something kept me here. I can say yesterday when it was just 660, 630 and me standing at the end of the day, it brought me back to the all the time that we just hung out and joked around. Well, there are truly only two left of the org "A" platoon. Heath I truly hope I made you proud. I hope I was only half the cop you were. I hope I made 660 proud! I hope I made 630 (bbf, LOL) very proud. I am going to miss this place, but this place has a huge piece of my heart! Love you Heath, thanks for always being there before and after! Shelly, Sam, Mason Love you guys to, and I will be close so if anything u guys need just call! Think Smart, Drive Safe, and Be Safe Matt Jean! Strike Team Alpha for LIFE!

Forgive me for missing the anniversary of your E.O.W., but I felt as though I could not continue to read about so many tragedies. I now realize the visit each day to leave a word of encouragement and hope to the loved ones of others, helps me to remember that I am not alone with my pain and heartbreak. So may I say to your friends and loved ones that my thoughts and prayers are with them now and always. Continue to keep watch over them and those still out on patrol and may they know you will never be forgotten.

HEATH,
IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE IT HAS BEEN TWO YEARS SINCE I LOST A GOOD FRIEND....GOING TO WORK IS NOT THE SAME WITHOUT YOU THERE. I SWEAR EVERYDAY THERE IS A STORY THAT I REMEMBER AND TELL SOMEBODY, OR I HEAR SOMEONE TELLING A STORY ABOUT YOU. I HAVE RUN INTO YOUR PARENTS A LOT AND HAVE SEEN THE KIDS A COUPLE OF TIMES. I MISS SEEIING THEM MORE OFTEN BUT HEAR THEY ARE DOING WELL, AS WELL AS SHELLY. ON FRIDAY I SAW THE PASSENGER FROM THE 11TH, AT WALMART, AND HE WAS LIKE HEY I REMEMBER YOU. It's so hard to believe that it has already been 2 years. There's not a day that passes, that you are not in our thoughts. It still doesn't seem real but I guess it never will. You touched so many lives and will continue to be in our memories forever. We love you and miss you so much! Shelly, Sam and Mason- you all too, are in our thoughts.
