"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God".
To the family, friends, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol I want to convey my sincere sympathy and condolences for your loss. It always grieves me to hear about the death of any law enforcement officer. I pray that God will comfort the family in this difficult time and during the difficult days and months ahead. Although most of us will never meet in this life we are all law enforcement brothers. The state of Tennessee has lost a hero.

Calvin,
Your voice on my end of the radio will be deeply missed. You always made me laugh, and while you hadn't been with us in District 4 very long, you touched all of our hearts.
You made the ultimate scarifice, and will always be remembered for your service to the citizens of the Great State of Tennessee.
Sarah, my thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of Calvin's family.

I heard my dispatcher give out the ATL on the cowards that took your life last night, The first broadcast advised that a Trooper had just been shot, I stopped on the side of the road to pray for you Tpr Jenks. A little while later the 2nd broadcast came out that the Tennessee Trooper had went 10-7. Trooper, I stopped again to pray for your family and for any other officer that finds these cowards. I pray now that Justice will be served, GodSpeed Troop!
