Reflections for Trooper Calvin Wayne Jenks

Calvin, we were so blessed when you, your brothers and your dad became part of our large family. We watched you grow up into a fine young man! Our hearts are broken to know we we will forever have an empty chair at our family reunions. We will miss you very much. We are so proud of the work you were doing to help keep Tennessee safe. Our thoughts and prayers are with your wife and the rest of your immediate family. Your "cousin" Phyllis

When I heard the horrific news this morning it was hard to believe. Everyone I talked to described the same sick feeling in their stomach. While we were in high school, and I was in TLETA and you over the hill in the Trooper Academy and the few times we got to work together on the road I never imagined this happening. You and your family are in our prayers. If anything makes this easier it is knowing you gave your life for a career you and we all love and that you are walking with God. I'll miss you brother!

Maury County Sheriff's Dept.
