May God watch over your family and coworkers during these trying times. It's a tragic shame that these two cowards committed such a violent act just because you were doing your job. I'm glad they caught them and God willing I hope justice will be served. Trooper Jenks, thank you for your time on earth trying to make Tennessee a safer place. May God keep your coworkers safe as they deal with such a tragic loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family, and your coworkers. Godspeed Trooper Jenks.

Trooper Jenks, thank you for your service.

My hope is that your killers are brought to justice and spend the rest of their lives behind bars, never to see the light of day again.

Trooper Jenks, watch over your family giving them the love, guidance and support they will need as they begin this long, dark journey.

Watch over your brothers and sisters in uniform.

Rest in peace.

Day is done, gone the sun from the lake, from the hill, from the sky,
All is well, safely rest. God is nigh.
Thanks and praise for our days 'neath the sun, 'neath the stars, 'neath the sky.
As we go, this we know. God is nigh.

GODSPEED.

No amount of words from any of us can ease your grief and suffering at the lost of your husband, and bother officer. But remain strong in your faith and know god as a plan for us all. Take comforted in knowing you will see Calvin again as we walk the streets of heaven. To the family of Trooper Calvin W. Jenks I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom. All the law enforcement community across the country feels you’re lost as well, we to have lost a bother in the fight. So it’s with a heavy heart we send our deepest sympathy to your family and the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Rest in peace Calvin job well done, you may be gone but know you will never be forgotten.

I hope Tennessee has the death penalty. Satan is waiting for those two. St Michael made reservations for them.
