I have been a law enforcement officer for over 14 years and this is the first time I have visited this page. Perhaps it was a coincidence that I came across the story of your sacrifice, 94 years and one day after your passing. Or perhaps it is not a coincidence. The story of your sacrifice is still being told.

Rest easy, brother.

I am looking for a picture of Justice of the Peace Thomas Simms Meredith. We do a tribute every year for the following officers who have lived or worked in Prince William County and I would like to add his picture since he was killed July 19, 1922. Peace Thomas Simms Meredith is being remembered and recognized. Please call or write me if you know how I can get a picture of him.

Justice Meredith,
It has taken over 84 years, but you are finally being honored. I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Prince William County. It took another year, but your murderer finally got the justice that he deserved.
