Hey Danny,
Working another shift up here in the north. Can you believe its -13 degrees outside. Crazy. Was just thinking about the few ride-a-longs I did with you before going to the sand box. I never thought I would be in this profession. I was planning on being in the Marines forever. I think those few times I went out with you made me want to do this job when I got out. Thanks brother. I will be coming out to visit friends and family in August next year. I wish I could visit you too. Well, I know your up there looking out for me and all the brothers and sisters. I can still remember the night my brother called me and said that you had been shot. I was in the academy in Florida. Thanks for being a great man and friend Dan. You will never be forgotten.

Another year... Still thinking about you often. There are little things here and there that remind us of you; you're funny impersonations and goofy comments. Please continue to look over us.

Hey Dan, Just got home from another shift. I live in Wisconsin now. Weird I know. No good burritos here. Anyway, I was just on my computer and noticed my folded flag with your picture in it (my personal tribute). I still have the mini badge for OPD (think I bought it at Knotts Berry Farm) that I take to work every day. I miss you brother. Still have your cell number in my phone. I cant delete it. A few posts below this one is from a Phyllis Loya. She is the mother of a fallen Police Officer and Marine Officer who was my series commander in boot camp. I know you have met Larry in heaven. Let him know to save me a spot when my watch is over. Love you Dan.

Danny Boy,
Thinking of you today, like most days. I still can't believe I'm going on a run this afternoon to honor you. I remember running with you in the Academy, not our favorite activity. I'll make up for it tonight with good food, red wine, and great company. Miss you buddy...

I have truly missed you. All most everyday I think about you. A lot has happen in 5 years, on December 12th 2007 I gave birth to our son, Donovan and on December 7th 2009 I gave birth to our daughter, Alexandra. We have a wonderful family. Alan and I have a picture of you in our office and everyday we touch your picture before we go to work, just to let you know we are thinking of you.
My father and I went to Washington, D.C. in May. We went to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. I found your name (panel: 42-E: 25) and there was a photo of you with flowers near your name. I took two rubbings of your name. I am planning on mailing one to your son. I am so sorry, that you are not around to give your son hugs, play ball, take him to the beach and tell him you love him. I know you are watching over him. Your family and friends tell your son all about you (crazy stories, loving stories) and I know he is very proud of his father.

Hey Dan,
Was just going through some old school papers and saw our invitation to the "Future leaders" confrence in San Diego. That was a good trip that got us out of class for a while. Still missing you buddy. I hope your family is doing well. My brother and I and Robert and Mike will never forget you. We had good times going off roading after school. I know your smiling down on me from heaven. Take it easy up there. We will all be together in the future for round two of this great existance.
