Reflections for Policeman Bud Cooper Cash
Grandfather that I never knew. I see this page and it brings life to the man I would love to meet. Thank you all who have wrote on this board and that have honored him. I have heard many stories that make me smile.
Love your grandson,

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 57th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.

I've just today (03/02/07) found out that I will be riding / cycling in honor of Officer Cash. In May hundreds of Police Officers (Police Unity Tour Officers) from around the country will gather in Virginia Beach and begin a 3 day bicycle ride to Washington DC in honor of all fallen officers from 2006, and previous years. It's my honor to have been selected to ride for Officer Cash. I hope to meet family members, and Officers from Cleveland PD during Police Week or at the Candle Light Vigil. I along with other Police Unity Tour members will see that the memory and family of Officer Cash will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace Brother....
