I got to shoot a Ruger last week, just like the one you always brought along for me. I don't go as much as I did with you so I feel like I was a little rusty but I swear I could hear you in my ear telling me to keep both eyes open. Giggled to myself quite a bit. I will never forget that stupid jackrabbit you tried to hit. I miss those times with you. Ice fishing season is coming up soon, can't wait to go. I always hated it when you made me freeze my butt off but for some reason I can't remember how the cold felt, I can only remember what good times they were out there on the ice. Take care and hug my mom!!

Yesterday we went horseback riding and, "our/your" horse did great! We have been riding a lot lately and every time you are there with us. Rocket Man, as well as his owners, misses his other rider very, very much!!!!

Last week was hard hearing everything on the news and looking at his face! I did not realize that this would be hard! You really touched me in a weird way! I think it's fair to say that you're in the forefront of many people's thoughts this last week. Mine for sure.

On a brighter note, your dog has taken down 2 birds recently. One out of the air and one off my lawn. She looked so proud of herself before the kids started crying and chasing her to save the birds. She is still a PIA but we love her anyway and know you sure did.

And look after Houdini for Ry. He sure misses her.
