Happy Birthday Ken! Today would have been 35. Is that possible? Even though we were born the same year, I don't feel anywhere near that old! I'm sure you are having a huge party tonight in heaven. We will do our best here at Old C's for you. Love and miss you always!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

I'm sure mom is cooking up a feast for you today and your friends are gathering at your old favorite hangout for a few tonight.

Ryan and John are out today shooting things and getting ready for their first hunting season. Can't think of a better way to spend your day than free BBQ and shooting trap. Found your old .22 with that big old clip this morning. Had to smile thinking of those flying marshmallows over the pond :)

You've left us all with incredible memories but what we wouldn't give to have you back...

Happy Birthday Ken!

As another lost birthday passes I can't help but wonder what you would have been doing right now. Getting ready to head up for a hunting trip, scuba diving in some tropical location or a quick trip to Vegas. There are so many times I sit and wonder what Ken is doing this week only to come to the reality that you are no longer with us. Riley is getting so big and already associates Uncle Ken with her Pooh bear (thanks Sue). She holds her Pooh and points up to your picture on the firplace. All I can do is tell her how great of a person Uncle Ken was. I miss you every day brother and wish we could celebrate one more birthday. Keep watching out for everyone.

I think you might have been there that day as well. I owe you one too. You would have been proud of Jenn, she is definitely something special.

I'm about to turn 31 - eeek! I remember fondly my 23rd birthday and our horseback riding trip...sure was a fine surprise. You always made my birthdays extra special - you just knew what to do to make people feel important. You still make your presence known from time to time in silly little ways like last week when I heard a stranger say your name. Keep watching over us and say hi to my mom for me.

Hi there friend......well, we had to put, "our" horse down. So, I am sure you are riding everyday and giving a bunch of treats to him, as it should be. We are headed up for a pack trip to your old hunting ground for a few days and leaving the kiddos at home. Ry Ry is starting preschool and W.J. is already 1 and terrorizing his older sister, kind of like someone else I know......;) We have this video frame that scrolls through pictures and there are ones on there of you holding Ryan as an infant. She loves watching it and seeing those pictures. She always says, "There is Uncle Ken holding me, when I was little and had black hair, just like Uncle Ken." She even has W.J. looking for those special pictures.

Today, is just one of those days. I just don't get how life can continue on and you are still gone. There are things that time is slowly eroding, but I will never forget your sparkling eyes, your hands holding the bottle for Ryan, and the way you gave hugs to let me know you truly cared and supported me. I just still REALLY miss you and know you will not be forgotten EVER!!

XOXO - ME

It seems that everywhere I turn these days...something reminds me of you! My oldest saw a kayak on the river the other day and wants to 'try it out, please Mama!' I'll make a boater out of her yet! Kayaks, skis, scuba, sunsets, full moon, fried rice, whatever---it all brings me back to memories of times spend together. Thank you for watching over me and my family and visiting me in my dreams now and then......

Another one in your neck of the woods brother. Keep an eye on my Grammy for me. Ask her to make a lemon meringue pie for you. Miss you every day!

The rivers out here are swollen and running fast. There are yaks on cars everywhere. Can't help but think how much you'd love it. John and I were checking out 10 mile creek yesterday and picking our lines just like we used to. GI Joe would get swamped, but we'd have Hoot.

I miss you and all our adventures
