Reflections for Police Officer Kenneth Chua Jordan

To a hero and a brother

We walk a path few wish to share
Our lives on the line showing we care

We wear the color blue each and every day
Doing our best to keep the evil at bay

Your watch is over my brother, we will take it from here
God Speed, Rest in Peace

You will be missed; your professionalism and selfless dedication to duty was to be admired. My prayers, peace, and strength to
your family.

Jordan family & friends~
I am so sorry for your loss, he sounds like an incredible man. I lost my friend Officer Donny Young (of Colorado Springs)last year in Denver. Our friend was Jared's Jenson's partner. Hard to believe it has happened yet again. I know these were all fine men, officers, friends, sons, fathers. They are all missed and we are all better for having them here on earth for the short time they were here. God bless all of you and may God lift your hearts during this difficult time.

Ken, those of us that wear the French Blue, Gold and Navy of the Colorado Springs Police Department, will forever miss you on the contact line at every DUI checkpoint that we will ever have again. You are a superstar, and a selfless professional that made us all very proud. The two hundred and sixty nine DUI arrests that you raked out in 2005 is a monster number that most will never come close to. There aren’t many people that are made like you, you are special. I am honored to say that I worked with you, and I know that everyone that you worked so hard to protect will appreciate, and love you forever my friend. L.C.

Ken
Why is it that we do this job? I am asked that all the time by friends and family alike. Only those who serve truly know the meaning behind it all. There are so many reasons, but this is not one of them. But we all know the possibility is lurking somewhere out there and we take it with us every day. You, along with our other fallen brothers and sisters were willing to fight what others fear. That is an honor above all else. Your sacrifice will not be forgotten. From my heart, thank you for your dedication and service brother.

An Angel In The Sky Must Leave His Place Of Rest,
Gently Tucking His Wings Beneath His Armored Vest.
For Duty Has Called, There Is Much Work To Do
Little Did He Know, This One Is Dressed In Blue.

Arriving On The Scene, He Knows Just What To Say,
"Follow Me, Fallen Brother, I'll Show You The Way."
"Your Duty Has Ended, Your Work Is Now Through."
"Come Hang Your Hat Beside Mine, for I am a Cop Too."
