Hi daddy.
I only have 4 more days of 8th grade! Summer then I'll be a Freshmen.
I was only half way through 6th grade when you died.
Tomorrows Memorial Day... It looks good up at the Cemetary. We have windsocks with picures of you and us kids. Thanks for the deer on Friday. I needed that.
Next week is stock show. Me and Katelyn are going to wear our last day shirts to wash are pigs.
Yesterday was Ashlyn's baptizm. I'm glad the way things worked out for her.
It's been raining ever since yesterday. It was coming down hard.

My Dearest Kevin,
Happy Easter!
I am thankful for the meaning of this day and the knowledge that I have of our Savior's atonement and resurrection.
I wish you were hear to color eggs with us and see the kids find their Easter baskets and do the egg hunts.

Hi daddy. I love you and miss you so much. There are so many things I would love to tell about but i guess i'll tell about our last hunt. It was the day after haloween. We were driving up little mountain and the sun wasn't gonna rise for 15 minutes so you just stopped. We just sat there and talked and watch the sunrise. I loved doing that. The sun came up and as we were driving along we saw a 4 point buck. Of course we were hunting elk though. We drove a little further and my dad saw with his eagle eyes a goup of elk 600 yards away. They were all cows though. we searched more and more but never saw anything. It was about 12:30 and we stopped and had our kipper snack lunch and took a nap. I can't remember a lot after that but I remember having a good time just me and you. Ilove you daddy.

Happy birthday to one of the choicest sons a mother ever had. It has been almost 28 months since you were taken from us. I thought it would be better by now. Don't know where I ever got such an idea. The saddness just never goes away. I thought this morning I would just think of all the good you brought into our lives instead of the grief we feel but even that makes me cry. Sometimes I think "if he had been a rotten person maybe I wouldn't feel so bad", but I'm so thankful you weren't that kind of a person. I'm glad I only have good memories of you. We all miss you more than there are words to describe. It must be hard for you not being with your little family who you are so proud of and love so much. They were your greatest joy in your life and it must have been so hard to leave them. We all love you and miss you so very much. Love, Mom

I have a daughter now, I cant imagine her having to go through what your children are going through... they are so young it breaks my heart... Your family seems pretty amazing. I am sure that they miss you a lot. I wish I could say that I would watch over them, but given the circumstances your probably doing a better job than I would ever be able to.

Kaylee was hurting and missing you so much as she told me what to type to you, in her last note.

(At least, I hope the "crap food" was a joke) The only reason I typed it for her is because I know Kaylee and know that it is her way of trying to cope. We all miss you unbearable. When you have the best and then have to live with out the best. It hurts! There is no way to change it. And you were and are by far the best husband and daddy.
