Deputy Hudnall, may you rest easy knowing that your family will be in so many thoughts and prayers. May God watch over you, your soul, your family and friends in this horrible journey they have just started. The emotional roller coaster that never ends.

My grandmother used to work for Kern County Sheriff Department, I know the friends and co-workers that she left there she always bragged on. This being said I know they will be there for your family for whatever they may need.

You are nothing short of a hero. We have the watch from here sir, enjoy your time on the golden highway until your family and friends can meet you there.

Ross County Ohio Deputy Sheriff

To Joe's family, I want you to know I am so sorry about what happened to Joe. I cannot express how I feel about my former beat partner. Joe was a great deputy and did a lot to protect us-a little at a time every night.Joe taught me a lot about how to deal with people and I will never forget what he did for me. Joe truly was a nice guy and would take the shirt off of his back to help anybody. I have so many memories of Joe that I will cherish with me and one day share with his children. I hope Joe will rest in peace and that his family is kept in everybody's prayers. I also salute all other fallen officers, may they all rest in peace. To Joe: You made a difference in peoples lives and that is a mark of a successful man, thank you. Your friend, Marvin Gomez # 788.

Deputy Hudnall,

Although I did not know you, I do know that your untimely death will touch the lives of many, many people. I have spent many years in patrol trying to apprehend the impaired drivers which flood our streets, but the problem sitll continues. It is terribly sad that yet another drunk driver takes the life of an innocent person. May
God bless you, your wife, and your precious children.

Respectfully,
