To the family, friends and co-workers my prayers are with you. There's not much anyone can say that will help you, and I wish I could say that it will get easier, but as we all know things will never be the same again. I think the only thing that helped me was knowing how much Clint loved being a police officer and would not have traded places with anyone.
Officer Whitson your family will miss you everyday, and we will never forget the sacrifice that you and your family made. Look Clint up for me tell him his mother misses him everyday.
You are a HERO.

I was just in Bowling Green last week from Florida, teaching a surveillance class that had Officer Whitson present. He was a great officer, and not only assisted others in the class, but was a pleasant person to be around. My prayers go out to his family, friends and fellow officers of the Bowling Green Police Department, for this is the first officer they had killed in the Line of Duty.
