When I heard about your death Friday morning my heart sank. You were always there to talk with and share stories. I can't count the number of times you came up to D6 to assist and cover me while I was on graveyards. You were truly one of the nicest and most genuine people I've ever met. The way you talked about your family left no doubt that you were a doting husband and father. It was a privilege and an honor to work with you and you will be missed dearly. 10-27-06, I awoke to learn that a friend was murdered. Jeff the memories are etched in my mind, whether it be talking sports or getting covered with hay and spider webs chasing bad guys with Ian (SSDK94). You were a great partner and most of all a great friend. My heart goes out to your family. It has only been slightly over a year since Rocklin PD lost one of our own. I truly am saddened by the loss of another brother. Hopefully justice will prevail and the low-life responsible for Jeff's death will be captured. My heart goes out to Jeff's family and fellow law enforcement brother's and sister's.
