When I heard about your death Friday morning my heart sank. You were always there to talk with and share stories. I can't count the number of times you came up to D6 to assist and cover me while I was on graveyards. You were truly one of the nicest and most genuine people I've ever met. The way you talked about your family left no doubt that you were a doting husband and father. It was a privilege and an honor to work with you and you will be missed dearly. Rest peacefully until we meet again...

I am so sorry for this loss to the family, friends and coworkers. There is nothing I can say that will comfort anyone at this time. But know that if you review this site you have 50 states strong that care and will make this as right as we can. Justice WILL be served, but in between, we will carry on the good fight and take care of one another. That's what we do...for us and your famliy.

We will never forget our brother!

10-27-06, I awoke to learn that a friend was murdered. Jeff the memories are etched in my mind, whether it be talking sports or getting covered with hay and spider webs chasing bad guys with Ian (SSDK94). You were a great partner and most of all a great friend. My heart goes out to your family. The best and the brightest are on the case and the piece of trash responsible for your death will be caught.

One thing all emergency services workers pray for is he/she or anyone they know to be injured in the line of duty. However, sometimes were not so lucky. On Friday, October 27, 2006 you gave the ultimate sacrifice to law enforcement all around.....your life. Rest in peace my brother in both 10-42.

While friday was a terrible for myself and other recruits, what happened only makes us all strive to be stronger, smarter, and train harder in order to serve our community as well as you served us all. Even in death you will still serve the community by being in the hearts and minds of us, watching over as we make our first traffic stop and enter the darker side of this world to protect those as well as you have. It is only in death that a person can live forever.

It has only been slightly over a year since Rocklin PD lost one of our own. I truly am saddened by the loss of another brother. Hopefully justice will prevail and the low-life responsible for Jeff's death will be captured. My heart goes out to Jeff's family and fellow law enforcement brother's and sister's. There are some difficult times ahead but, you will slowly get through it.Rest in Peace brother.

Though I never knew him, he was part of my Law Enforcement family and I will mourn this deep loss the rest of my life. My heart aches with all the losses we suffered, and continue to suffer, through the years. God is our only peace through such incidents & our comfort is that He will judge the guilty justly and without end.
