To all my fellow officers at the Lee County Sheriff's Office. As well as my own family, The Lalor's. We have lost another officer to a drunk driver. This make me become more aggressive in my pursuit to remove DRUNKS from our roadways. I pray for the family of Deputy Nunez and the Lee County deputies in the loss.

DEPUTY NUNEZ, YOU REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND. I SALUTE YOU! MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU, YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES. I THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE. YOU DID NOT LOSE YOUR LIFE, YOU GAVE IT IN SERVICE TO OTHERS. A TRUE HERO INDEED.

THOSE CLOSE TO THIS HERO, PLEASE TAKE COMFORT IN KNOWING THAT I, ALONG WITH MANY OTHERS ACROSS THIS LAND, GRIEVE WITH YOU. KEEP HER IN YOUR HEART, AND PASS HER STORY ALONG. MAY GOD BLESS YOU.

ANOTHER DUI TAKES ONE OF OUR HEROES. MORE IMPORTANTLY, HE TOOK AWAY TWO BEAUTIFUL KIDS MOTHER, AND A WIFE AWAY FROM THEIR DAD. THESE CHILDREN NEED TO GROW UP KNOWING THAT THIER MOMMY IS A HERO, WHO DIED DOING WHAT SHE LOVED, SERVING AND PROTECTING US FROM EVIL.

HE WAS ARRESTED FOR VEHICULAR MANSLAUGHTER. WE NEED TO CHANGE OUR LAWS SO THAT IT IS MURDER 1. HE KNOWINGLY GOT BEHIND THE WHEEL INTOXICATED. WHEN WILL THEY EVER LEARN.
