Hey Josh, I know your ears were burning the other night when Brandy and I were talking about you. Sorry about that, but we had to do it. You were on both of our minds and we just had to laugh and cry a little. Please watch over "Pac," I know he misses you so very much.

Rest easy buddy.

Hey Josh, I'm looking over your reflections and can't believe it's over three years! I talk to your Mom now and then. I know you're watching over her. How 'bout Jodie naming her son after you!? I pray for you every week at church -- but you probably already know that. Keep your Mom and your family safe Josh. Miss you

Paige turned 9 on Saturday. Wow how time flies by. Had a skating party for her. It was nice to see all the family together. She enjoyed playing with all her cousins. She also enjoyed getting to visit with Jodie and Cory. I know you were watching. Love ya and miss ya.

Went to the blue light dinner this weekend in Cleveland at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The kids had a blast. They were impressed with the fancy hotel that we got to stay in. They are growing up so fast. We still miss you so much and miss you every day. We love you!

Hey Josh, still thinking about you. We try to be careful out here but please watch over us. I know the passage of time doesn't make it any easier for your family and friends. I hope they smile a little more each day when they think of you. I see more officers taken from us each week and I know there is another community going through a lot of the same things yours has. I pray that they can withstand the immeasurable pain and grief. No one deserves to lose a loved one but we must go on without you. No one knows why until we get the chance to ask God for ourselves. Until we see you again, we will try to honor you in the lives that we live. Thanks for being a part of our lives. We miss you immensely.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the third anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace. I hold your family in my heart's embrace today.
