I never met Mr Daniels, but I heard nothing but wonderful things about him. From what I have seen & heard, there could not have been a nicer person in his position. It's so sad to see such a tragic event happen to such a good person. My prayers are with the daniels family. and thank you Mr daniels for all you have done for the community.

Sheriff Daniels, it may not have been in the classic sense of ‘line of duty’, but your death was nonetheless the result of a duty related event, and in service to others. God Bless you for your selflessness and may you Rest in Peace, Brother. May God also watch over all those left behind, most especially your family at home, but also your family at work who will no longer have your guidance as Sheriff.

A tragic accident for all involved. He gave his life doing a good deed, no doubt one of thousands over the two decades he served. May all the deputies under him be comforted in remembering the good that he accomplished and continue to perform their duties in a manner that would make him proud.
